REVISED NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED BOARD MEETING Notice is hereby given that the School Board of Highlands County, Florida, has rescheduled the June 23, 2026 Board Meetings to June 18, 2026. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be practicable, in the Garland Boggus Board Room, 426 School Street, Sebring, Florida. All interested persons are invited to attend. If a person intends to appeal the Boards decision with respect to any matter, or has any thought that an appeal may be taken, the person has the responsibility to ensure that a verbatim (word for word) record of the proceeding is made and that the record includes all testimony and evidence upon which an appeal is to be based. The School Board of Highlands County, Florida does not discriminate upon the basis of any individuals disability status. LEGAL NOTICE RFQ 26-011: DESIGN/BUILD - BABCOCK RANCH SUSTAINABILITY & RESILIENCY INSTITUTE Florida Gulf Coast University (University or FGCU) invites the submission of Replies from interested and qualified corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the state of Florida for the opportunity to perform design/build services. OVERVIEW: This project will be executed through a design/build project delivery methodology to construct a new state-of-the-art facility in the midtown section of Babcock Ranch, located in Charlotte County, Florida. FGCU anticipates a 4-6 story educational facility focused on addressing the need for sustainable development and on fostering a resilient, eco-friendly future. The Institute will potentially include some or all of the following elements: Academics, Arts, Laboratory, Classroom or Multi-Purpose Facilities, Professional Development, and Event and Conference Venue(s).
