NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
GATEWAY SERVICES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
TO REVISE, AMEND, ESTABLISH, ADOPT REVISIONS/AMENDMENTS TO RATES, FEES, RENTALS AND CHARGES [REVENUES] AND FEE STRUCTURE(S) FOR DISTRICT FACILITIES AND SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that the Gateway Services Community Development District (the "District") Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on May 16, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at the District Offices - Meeting Room, located at 13240 Griffin Dr. Ft. Myers, Florida 33913. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comment on and thereafter revise, amend, establish, adopt revisions/amendments to the rates, fees, rentals and charges [Revenues] and fee structure(s) for the use of District's facilities and services, including but not limited to: parks and recreation facilities and services, District meeting and conference room, project review fees, public works fees, right-of-way authorization fees [collectively the "Facilities" and "Services"]. At the Public Hearing and meeting, the District shall revise, amend, establish and/or adopt rates, fees, rentals and charges and fee structure(s) for use of the District's Facilities and for certain District Services. The Public Hearing and meeting are open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida law for community development districts. A copy of the proposed revised/amended rates, fees, rentals and charges and fee structure(s) for use of the District's Facilities and for certain District Services is set forth below and a copy may be obtained by contacting the District Manager at 11922 Fairway Lakes Dr., Suite 1, Ft. Myers, FL 33913; 239-561-1313. There may be occasions when one or more Supervisors and District Staff will participate by telephone, via a speaker telephone, or by use of remote communications technology, so that they can attend and participate in the Public Hearing and meeting at the above location and be fully informed of the discussions taking place. Anyone wishing to listen and participate in the Public Hearing and meeting will be able to do so telephonically or via video viewing and participation, with access numbers and access website information, including any access code, posted on the District's website https://www.gatewaydistrict.org. Pursuant to provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this Public Hearing and meeting is asked to contact the District Manager's Office at 239-561-1313, at least 48 hours before the hearing. If you are hearing or speech impaired, please contact the Florida Relay Service at 7-1-1 for aid in contacting the District Office. A person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the Public Hearing and meeting is advised that person will need a record of the proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
